This driver is the result of over 10-years of research, testing, and data from prior versions. The E-8 v.6 is built around an upgraded version of the v.4/v.5 motor with superior gap venting. These proven parts are mated up to a strong, high clearance stamped steel frame and competition grade soft parts. The tinsel leads have been upgraded to the same 63-conductor “Mini-XL” units now found on the E-10/12/15 v.3 woofers. All new to the sixth generation E8 is a much more optimized surround to ensure more coil stability and higher cone area. Each part of the driver has been hand selected & tested to give you the ultimate in budget bass reproduction from a tiny ported enclosure. FAQ
We always reccomend a big 3 kit for every vehicle, regardless of the system. However, if you plan on running more than 1,500 watts we reccomend a good AGM battery underhood, and then from there more power will need more electrical upgrades depending on power.
